Kurzman Eisenberg represented the purchaser in the simultaneous bulk acquisition of unsold cooperative and condominium units across a portfolio of 26 residential buildings throughout the New York metropolitan area, in a transaction valued at over $130 million.

The acquisition also included parking garage condominium units consisting of over 500 parking spaces and 20 commercial leases.

The Real Estate Practice Group handled all aspects of the transaction. Chair Stuart W. Berg led the team, along with Iryna Lomaga Carey, Shellie Rosan, Christine Konefal, Caroline I. Keegan, and David R. Katzman.

The team advised on the purchaser’s rights as successor sponsor and holder of unsold shares, and negotiated with the seller’s lender and with the respective cooperative and condominium boards and managing agents. Kurzman Eisenberg also structured and formed the purchaser’s holding corporation and the special-purpose subsidiaries used to acquire the portfolio.

This closing continues the momentum of Kurzman Eisenberg’s Real Estate Practice Group, which advised on more than $250 million in NYC bulk unit acquisitions in 2025 and 2026.
