Kurzman Eisenberg’s Litigation Practice Group provides legal representation to individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities in both federal and state courts in New York and New Jersey, as well as in other states pro hac vice, and in administrative hearings, arbitrations, and mediations in various forums. We seamlessly handle all phases of a matter, from inception through discovery, motion practice, hearings, and trial, and through to judgment enforcement and appeals. The Litigation Practice Group has a significant record of demonstrated success in the cases in which we have been involved.

Kurzman Eisenberg’s litigation attorneys have successfully represented clients in a wide range of commercial and personal actions. Our practice includes a broad array of commercial litigation and business disputes, including breach of contract, business divorce, business torts, accountings, intellectual property, and breach of fiduciary duty matters. The Litigation practice also focuses on real property litigation, including mortgage foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes, construction disputes, specific performance claims, condominium and cooperative matters, and partition actions. Our Litigation Practice Group also works closely with Kurzman Eisenberg’s Trusts & Estates Litigation and Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Practice Groups to provide our clients with a broad spectrum of services to meet their litigation needs.

Our team derives its strength from the diverse backgrounds of our attorneys who have worked in large firms, served as a town court judge, a court attorney, a judicial clerk, and court-appointed guardians, and acted as arbitrators and mediators in many cases. This experience gives our attorneys valuable insight into the courts, the issues confronting our clients, and how best to navigate the often muddled and difficult litigation process. Working closely with attorneys in Kurzman Eisenberg’s other practice groups, our litigators can tap into key resources to obtain efficient and favorable results.

We staff our cases leanly and operate efficiently by right-sizing our team for each matter. Through ongoing communication and consultation with our clients, we utilize our strengths to analyze each matter, pinpoint our clients’ needs and goals, and achieve the best result possible in the circumstances. While we have the experience and ability to prosecute or defend our clients’ matters through trial and appeal, we know that taking a case all the way to such an end is not always in our clients’ best interests. We take pride in our ability to advise our clients wisely in all situations, and to find sensible and innovative solutions to our clients’ disputes.
