Jeffrey S. Held, Esq. Joins Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP as a Partner in its Real Estate Practice

Jeffrey S. Held, Esq., a skilled real estate transactional lawyer with more than 30 years of experience at major New York City law firms, has joined Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever, LLP as a Partner in its Real Estate Practice, Joel S. Lever, Esq., founding Partner, announced today. In his new position, Mr. Held will be part of a growing and vibrant real estate legal team that is known for providing sophisticated legal services to major real estate developers and investors. 

“Jeff will further enhance our ability to help our real estate clients achieve their business goals,” Mr. Lever said. “He has a track record of getting deals done, no matter how complex or how many obstacles faced. We are very pleased to welcome him to our firm.” 

Mr. Held said he looks forward to being part of the unique culture at Kurzman Eisenberg. “We have very smart people here who have come from big firm environments, but we operate in an entrepreneurial, streamlined fashion,” he explained. “We move quicker and respond quicker than other firms with a similar caliber of legal expertise.” 

Previously, Mr. Held served as a Partner in the Real Estate group at Day Pitney LLP, as well as at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where he headed the New York office’s real estate practice.  He began his career at O’Sullivan Graev & Karabell, where he rose through the ranks to Partner. 

Mr. Held earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Washington University in St. Louis, and his Doctor of Law degree from The George Washington University Law School. In 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011, Mr. Held was recognized as a Super Lawyer. A member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, Mr. Held resides in Rye Brook, New York.
