Andrew S. Lupatkin

Mr. Lupatkin has extensive experience in elder law, and works with clients to develop personalized plans that deal with a variety of aging and disability issues. He takes a very personalized approach to his practice, and understands that these cases involve not only complicated legal issues, but complicated emotions for our clients. Mr. Lupatkin has counseled many clients in the areas of both Medicaid planning and asset protection, specializes in the drafting of special-needs trusts, and can assist clients in exploring long-term options such as home-based care, assisted-living facilities and nursing homes. He is also available to assist clients with applications for government benefits such as Medicaid as part of the planning process, represents clients in Guardianship proceedings, and can handle each stage of the process from the Guardianship petition to the annual accountings.

Mr. Lupatkin joined the Firm as Counsel after working at a major New York City law firm and then founding his own law firm. He is a frequent lecturer for senior groups and for professional organization.
